Write for Digital 9 Labs
We publish for Singapore business owners and operators who are trying to make their company run better. If you have done the work rather than only read about it, we would like to hear from you. Practitioners get published here far more often than marketers do.
What we want
- First-hand accounts of running an operational process in a Singapore business: quoting, stock, claims, scheduling, payroll.
- Practitioner pieces. A QS on how progress claims really get certified. A clinic manager on chair utilisation. A storeman on why stock counts drift.
- Honest post-mortems of a software rollout, including the parts that went badly.
- Data you have actually gathered, with the method explained so a reader can check it.
- Clear explainers of Singapore compliance: GST treatment, InvoiceNow, CPF, work-pass administration.
- Comparisons of tools you have genuinely used in production, with the trade-offs stated.
What we will turn down
- Anything written to place a backlink. We will spot it and it wastes both our time.
- Generic AI-assembled listicles with no first-hand experience behind them.
- Vendor pitches dressed as advice, including for our own services.
- Pieces with invented statistics, or figures without a source we can check.
- Content already published elsewhere.
The terms, stated plainly
No surprises after you have written it.
Length
1,200 to 2,500 words. Long enough to be useful, short enough to be read.
Byline
Your name, your photo, a short bio and one link. We do not strip credit.
Links
One relevant link to your own site, followed. We are not stingy about it if the piece is good.
Editing
We edit for clarity and house style. Nothing changes your argument without your sign-off.
Exclusivity
Original to us. You may republish after 30 days with a canonical link back.
Response time
We reply to every pitch within five working days, yes or no, with a reason.
Pitch an article
One paragraph on the idea, and one line on why you are the person to write it. That is enough.
