Content Creator
Turn the systems we build into writing, video and visuals that a Singapore business owner actually finds useful.
About the role
We publish because it works, not because a content calendar says so. Our pages rank against companies far larger than us, and they do it by being genuinely more useful: real numbers, real workflows, honest advice including when not to buy from us. You will own that output. It is a rare content role because the subject matter is real: you will sit in on client work, see how a quotation actually gets built or a progress claim actually gets certified, and write from that rather than from a keyword tool.
The mission
Make Digital 9 Labs the most useful thing a Singapore SME owner reads when they are trying to fix how their business runs.
What you will own
- Own the publishing engine: research, write, edit and ship on a steady cadence.
- Write from real work. Sit in on client sessions and turn what you learn into something an owner can use.
- Produce the visual layer too: screenshots, diagrams, short video walkthroughs of systems we have built.
- Keep the bar honest. Every number is sourced or clearly framed, and we say when off-the-shelf is the better answer.
- Work the distribution, not just the writing: LinkedIn, email, and the channels our buyers actually use.
- Own case studies end to end, from interviewing the client to publishing the piece.
- Watch what performs and let it change what you make next.
What we are looking for
- Two or more years producing content that was published and measured, not just drafted.
- You write plainly. No filler, no hype, no borrowed jargon.
- Comfortable making visual work as well as written: basic design, screen recording, simple editing.
- You can hold a conversation with a business owner and come away with the real story.
- Organised enough to ship consistently without being chased.
Nice to have, not required
- B2B or SaaS content experience, especially anything technical.
- SEO fundamentals, and an interest in how AI assistants surface content.
- Video editing, motion or illustration.
- Comfortable using AI tools as a drafting aid while keeping the judgement yours.
What good looks like in your first 90 days
- Week 2: your first piece is live and you have sat in on real client work.
- Week 6: you are running the cadence yourself and the quality bar is holding.
- Week 12: something you made is bringing in enquiries we can point to.
Where this role goes
Grow into owning the whole content function: strategy, channels and eventually a small team, or specialise deeply into the video and product-storytelling side. Either way you will have a body of published work with your name on it.
