Dental clinic website design in Singapore

Dental is the most competitive local search category we work in. In most Singapore neighbourhoods a patient searching for a treatment gets a dense page of clinics, and the differences that decide the click are small and mostly technical.

4 shipped projects on this page. Every one names the client and links to a live system.

The work

What this work usually involves

Dental is the most competitive local search category we work in. In most Singapore neighbourhoods a patient searching for a treatment gets a dense page of clinics, and the differences that decide the click are small and mostly technical.

Speed is the first. Dental searches skew heavily to mobile and often to mobile data, and a clinic site that takes several seconds loses patients who never see the content.

Structure is the second. Patients search by treatment name, sometimes the clinical term and sometimes the everyday one, usually with a location attached. A site organised the way a practice thinks about itself, with everything under one services page, cannot compete with one that has a real page per treatment written in the language patients use.

Third is the booking path. Every additional field costs completions, and a patient standing in an MRT station will abandon a form that asks for details the clinic could collect on arrival.

Everything touching regulated territory stays adjustable, because a dental site that has to be stripped back later was built wrong.

What we build

Common questions

How do patients actually search for a dentist in Singapore?

Overwhelmingly by treatment plus place, on a phone, in the moment. That is why a page per treatment and genuine per-location pages outperform a single services page, however well written it is.

Should we use clinical terms or everyday language?

Both, and in that order of prominence reversed. Lead with the everyday term because that is what patients type, and include the clinical term so the page is precise and reaches people who search that way.

How short should the booking form be?

As short as the clinic can tolerate. Anything that can be collected when the patient arrives should be collected then. Each extra field measurably reduces completed bookings.
