Twin City Endodontics is a Singapore dental specialist practice running two clinics - one at Forum The Shopping Mall and one at Ngee Ann City - with a roster of endodontists, surgeons and visiting practitioners working across both locations.
Coordinating a multi-clinic specialist practice by hand is unforgiving: the front desk has to schedule patients into the right room with the right doctor at the right clinic, juggle referrals coming in from external dentists, keep a waitlist moving so cancellations get backfilled, and reduce no-shows that waste expensive specialist chair time. Doctors, rooms, procedures and treatment durations all differ, and each clinic has its own day. On top of that, consumables and instruments have to be on hand in each treatment room. Spreadsheets and a generic calendar cannot hold this together.
How we helped
Digital 9 Labs built a custom clinic-operations and scheduling system for Twin City Endodontics, spanning both clinics from a single login. It provides daily, weekly and monthly scheduling views with a clinic switcher; a configurable library of doctors, staff, treatment rooms and procedures (each with its own duration and price); a patients and referring-dentist directory; inbound referral handling with email notifications per clinic; an inventory module covering room requests, warehouse stock, purchase orders and a supplier catalog; task management for the team; and reporting. Access is role-based with admin, doctor and front-desk roles.
