Mushmello.Asia — Events / Lifestyle (interactive pop-up booths)

Mushmello is a Singapore-based lifestyle brand that runs interactive pop-up booths at events, where guests create their own personalized embroidered name straps, called MelloTags. At the booth, visitors pick a pastel strap, choose iron-on letters from A to Z, and add cute patches featuring animals, food, vehicles, the solar system, and hobbies. A travelling team, the MelloCrew, heat-presses each tag together on the spot so guests can take home a keepsake they designed themselves. The brand caters to corporate family days, school carnivals, and lifestyle craft fairs.
Most of Mushmello's visibility lived on social media, which made it hard for event organizers and corporate clients to grasp the full experience, see what could be customized, and understand the booking requirements before reaching out. Prospective clients researching a booth vendor had no single place to view the four-step MelloTag process, the strap, letter, and patch options, the per-item and per-package pricing, or the practical event guidelines such as the minimum booking and on-site power requirement. Without a dedicated site, every basic question had to be answered by hand, and interested organizers had no easy path from curiosity to a structured enquiry.
How we helped
We designed and built a mobile-first website that presents the Mushmello experience and routes interested organizers straight into an enquiry. The site opens with a hero that lays out the four-step MelloTag flow (pick patches, choose letters, press it together, take home your tag), then walks through the brand story and the MelloCrew, a "Build Your Own MelloTag" showcase of strap colors, letters, and patch categories with à-la-carte pricing, and an events section covering corporate family days, school carnivals, and lifestyle pop-ups alongside clear event guidelines (full setup provided, a 15-pax minimum per one-hour session, and the on-site power requirement for the heat press). An enquiry form collects the event details and hands off to WhatsApp with a pre-filled message, and a persistent WhatsApp button plus an Instagram link give guests a direct way to reach the team. The visual design keeps the brand's soft, playful character while staying clear enough for corporate buyers to assess fit quickly.
What other businesses can take from this:
- If your business runs on social media, a single owned website gives serious buyers one place to understand your full offering, which a feed scattered across posts cannot.
- Spell out your process visually. Breaking the experience into a few clear steps removes uncertainty and helps a prospect picture what they are actually buying.
- Publish the practical constraints up front, such as minimum booking size, session length, and any on-site requirements. Setting expectations early attracts better-qualified enquiries and cuts back-and-forth.
- Show pricing transparently where you can, including per-item and package options, so prospects can self-qualify before they contact you.
- Meet customers on the channel they already use. Routing the enquiry form into WhatsApp with a pre-filled message lowers the friction between interest and a real conversation.
