MADPICKLERS - Indoor Pickleball Club Platform

MADPICKLERS is an indoor pickleball club in the north of Singapore, built around a single premium, air-conditioned court that runs around the clock. Beyond court time it positions itself as a community and events brand - hosting open-play sessions, private and group coaching under its head coach, kids' games, corporate bookings, and tournament-style gatherings, alongside a small merchandise line and partnerships with pickleball equipment brands.

An indoor sports club like this lives or dies on how easily people can find and book court time. Players want to see what is available on a given day, pick a slot and a duration, and reserve it without a phone call or a back-and-forth chat. The club, meanwhile, needs to keep a scarce resource - a single court - as full as possible: pricing peak evenings and weekends differently from quiet weekday daytime hours, steering larger and longer bookings toward corporate packages, and filling otherwise-empty off-peak slots with drop-in open play and lessons. On top of that, a new club has to build trust and a sense of community fast, so first-time visitors feel confident enough to show up and book. The platform has to carry all of that - bookings, coaching, events, and brand story - in one place that works on a phone.

How we helped

Digital 9 Labs built the MADPICKLERS website and online booking platform at madpicklers.com. The booking flow lets visitors choose a booking type - court, coaching, or corporate event - then pick a date and a session length (60, 120, or 180 minutes) and reserve the court directly online, with peak and off-peak rates shown up front so players know what an evening or weekend slot costs versus a quiet weekday hour. A separate "Get Pickl'd" open-play section lists upcoming community sessions, including beginner-friendly and kids' games, and shows how many spots are left so people can join a session in a few taps. The rest of the site carries the brand: an about section and head coach, partner brands, a photo gallery of events and tournaments, a merchandise store, and clear WhatsApp and phone contact for anything that needs a human.

What other businesses can take from this:

  • When your main resource is limited - one court, one room, one chair - let people self-serve the booking online so every reservation isn't a manual conversation.
  • Use peak and off-peak pricing to nudge demand: charge more for the slots everyone wants, and make the quiet hours cheaper to fill them.
  • Give a clear path for your biggest customers - here, a dedicated corporate-events booking type for longer sessions - so high-value enquiries don't get lost in the standard flow.
  • Turn empty inventory into community: drop-in open-play sessions with visible "spots left" counts fill off-peak time and bring new people in the door.
  • Put booking, events, story, and contact in one mobile-friendly site so a first-time visitor can go from curious to booked without leaving the page.
